Recipe:

Take a wok, heat oil, add jeera and rai, let it crack. Then mix green chilli, onion, fry till little brown in colour. Add potatoes and all the dry masala’s. Cook for 3-4 minutes, sprinkle coriander leaves and keep aside. In small tadka pan, heat oil and crack the rai. Now pour this tadka in dahi(optional) with little salt. Take a bread slice, with the help of sharp-edged round bowl, cut the bread slice one by one. Now spread the potato mixture in every bread slice and press. Next take the flat bottomed fry pan with lid and grease it with little oil, after that put the idli’s upside down in sim flame. Spread the dahi mixture on the upper side of idli’s and cover it with lid. (Note: I DID NOT FOLLOWED THIS STEP ONE MAY OR MAY NOT USE YOGURT JUST FRIED WITH SOME OIL ON BOTH D SIDES OF THE BREAD). Let it cook for 2-3 minutes till the bottom of idli’s are little crispier. It is ready to serve now. Garnish it with the sauce you like Papri Chaat is ready for serving. Enjoy it immediately.
