Ingredients:
- 300 g spinach washed and cut
- 2 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- 1 inch fresh ginger, roughly chopped
- 1 -2 green chili chopped
- 200g potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons ghee or 2 tablespoons butter or oil 2 tbsp
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt to taste
Recipe:
In a pan add oil(ghee/butter) and chopped garlic, ginger and green chilies. Next add the washed and cut potatoes stir and then add the spinach. Add the dry masala powder mentioned and salt to taste. Cover with a lid and cook for 4-5 mins stir in between check the potatoes when done remove the lid and cook at medium flame till the spinach water is dry .... but do not forget to stir to avoid burning.
