- 10-12pcs cut medium strips of lauki/ghia/bottle gourd
- 1 cup besan/gram flour
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- a pinch of turmeric powder/haldi
- a pinch of garam masala powder
- a pinch of asafoetida/hing
- salt as required
- oil for deep or shallow frying
Recipe:
Make a thick batter of besan, ginger garlic past, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, hing, salt to taste mix all together add water as per need.Heat oil in a wok at high.Add few pcs strips of bottle gourd into the batter combine well and deep fry, follow same with the left.Serve with coriander or tomato sauce.
