Whole Wheat Amond laddus

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (Atta)
  • ½ cup ghee(clarified butter)(melted)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar or less
  • 1/3 cup roughly crushed almonds
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom powder

Recipe:

Melt the ghee in a heavy bottom pan and add atta(whole wheat) to it. Lower the fire and keep stirring it for approx 10 mins.Add crushed almonds and roast for about 5 more minutes. Important to keep stirring continuously, to roast evenly.Saute till color change and get a nice aroma from the atta. Remove from fire and pour the mix in a plate or a bowl.Gently spread it and allow the atta and almond mix to cool down thoroughly(just 5-7 mins).Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder mix well. To make the laddus take some mix into your palm gently press to form a smooth, round ball. Size is adjusted as you prefer. Let it cool at room temperature and enjoy.
