Ivy gourd(Kundru, tindori)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups kundru, cut lengthwise into quarters
  • 3-4 green chilies paste or chopped
  • ½ tsp. hing (asafetida)
  • 1 tsp. haldi (turmeric powder)
  • 1 tbsp. garlic minded
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 tbsp

Recipe:

Heat 1 tbsp. oil in a wok/ kadai. Add hing and garlic and green chilies. Sauté for about 2 minutes till they turn translucent. Add the sliced kundru and mix well.Cover and cook for about 15 minutes until the vegetables soften. Stir in between and add salt and turmeric powder
