Ingredients:
- shredded Coconut(Kraft Baking & Canning Baker's Sweetened Coconut Angel Flakes used here):2 1/2 cups
- condensed milk (Borden Sweetened Condensed Fat Free Eagle Brand Milk used here):1 cup
- Cardamom Powder:1/2 tsp
- Clarified butter(ghee)(@ room temperature):2tsp
Recipe:
Heat a pan in medium flame, add clarified butter let it melt next add shredded coconut. Roast a little till its change its color to golden brown(for a minute or 2) immediately add the condensed milk.Keep on stirring the shredded coconut and condensed milk together when cooking to
avoid getting burned.Cook until the shredded coconut and condensed milk mixture becomes thick (first the mixture will become thin and then it
starts to solidify) 5-7 mins. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Remove the pan from heat and allow it to cool(note: it should not cool completely as its hard to bind the ladoos
